Finally, a practice in San Antonio

Cowboys are on the practice field, early drills include all special teams.

Large crowd on hand to watch the opening practice.

There was 22,500 at the Friday night "Kickoff Party" here at the Alamodome.

There's a rhyme and reason for all the drills they do and at times, yes--it can be boring as you know what but it's all about leading up to the regular season.

Cowboys will practice only once today, twice on Sunday.

On the radio side of things, we have a "Wish List" that I give each year to Jancy Briles in the Media Relations Department. I've been fortunate over the years to work with some great people who usually deliver what I've asked for including guests.

I'll try and gather 2-3 recorded interviews throughout the weekend that we can build our shows around this Monday through Thursday, plus---we'll keep adding others along the way next week.

There are 4-5 radio stations broadcasting from up here in the press box, including two from Dallas, one from my old station in Tyler, and 1660ESPN Radio.
